For this series I collaborated with photographer Magali Duzant. By using bright synthetic materials such as sequins, rope and latex paint we built installations in abandoned houses in Braddock Pennsylvania. These interjections mimic natural occurrences of abandonment such as overgrowth, decay, decomposition and infection. The installations portray artificial histories beneath the surfaces and inside the walls. Photography is used to frame particular moments of these gestures.
